Hello Kathleen As Martyn guessed your family were living in Betton Street, not far from the Cemetery in Longden Road. A microfiche copy of the cemetery records are held at the Shropshire Archives. Because of the way they were indexed you will need to search through all the index entries beginning with 'H' for each year around 1904 until you find them - not a particularly long job. If you go to http://www.shropshire.gov.uk/archives.nsf/open/8183A1F1F3787E6580256FAB00649AED then scroll down to the bottom entry under 'Online services and attachments' you will find information about 'Shrewsbury General Cemetery' which will tell you about searching these records. If you find a reference and visit the cemetery take a digital camera and photograph the cemetery plan at the entrance - it will help you to find a grave. If you are really stuck try to find one of the grounds maintenance staff. Mike _______________________________ In response to: Fair bet that this was Betton Street, Belle Vue, then in the newish parish of Holy Trinity (carved out of St Julian's). That of course had no real graveyard, so Municipal Cemetery one would think.
