Hello Sandra You are fortunate that you have an exact date so that will make searching much easier. The Shropshire Star (the local evening newspaper) will have carried the story that day or the next and possibly one or two more, especially if the bodies were not recovered immediately. The Inquest will have been opened within a day or two of the bodies being recovered and you will probably find the report in the papers includes the date that the full Inquest was adjourned to. You need to read the reports of the full Inquest in both the Shropshire Star and Shrewsbury Chronicle to get all the details. In response to: Ought to be in Shrewsbury Chronicle, Sandra - on film at Archives (open late this evening).
