Does anyone know if or how it is possible to obtain the names of godparents of a child? This is just a general query. Would it be noted in Bishops Transcripts or a register? Or would it not be noted at all. I know that there are no names on either my or my husband's Baptismal Certificates (1930's & 1940's). However my son's certificates names all three godparents (1967). Any thoughts gratefully received. Hazel
