This will not be publicly displayed (if you are not a Member please enter "0000").
Your Email:
You don't have to add your email address, however someone may want to contact you "off-board".
Your URL:
If you have a personal Web-
Site you want to include, use the format
http://www.yourwebsite.me.uk
to get your URL to work correctly, or just leave it blank if you don't have a Web-Site.
Subject:
Do not leave the Subject Box Empty, otherwise no-one will be able to read your posting
, please type your subject in the above box, if possible include a place name(s) and only use
CAPITALS
for any Surname(s) mentioned, e.g. "Fred BLOGGS, Marriage Westbury, c1881". This is to help readability. If you type everything in capitals it looks like "YOU ARE SHOUTING" and will put people off (and make me cross!), Thank You.
DetailsYour Message:
Please do NOT post adverts, these should be sent to our Editor for consideration, pricing and possible inclusion in our Quarterly Journal. Family History Fairs may be posted. Also do not use all capitals for the same reason as above. Do not post details of any living persons without their consent.
NB: All posting should be relevant to Shropshire and Family History. This field will accept up to 4000 characters, so don't skimp, if you are vague about your requirements then the kind folk who post answers can waste time finding out information you already know, so if you have the person on all Census say so, and if you are only interested in finding their marriage say so, hopefully this will save you getting back what you already know.
Finally, if and hopefully when you get a reply, please post an acknowledgment on this MessageBoard and if someone has contacted you directly then please thank them for their efforts as I have had one or two complaints that a few original posters appear to be somewhat ungrateful, this could in time lose us these helpful responders. Thank you.
