Come and visit us, at the Society's Fair, Saturday 2nd June 2018, 10:00AM - 4:00PM, The Shirehall, Shrewsbury.  Admission: £3 Pay on Door. Free Parking. Non-Members Welcome.

- The common philosophy that our family History can all be done 'on-line is far from the truth.

Prior to retirement Ian was a professional genealogist with over 30 years experience in English research.  He is a former Chairman of, and is a Fellow of AGRA (the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives) the body which represents professional genaealogists throughout England and Wales
He is a fellow of the Society of Genealogists, was a trustee and Chairman of the Education Committee and has published several books in the Society's 'My Ancestor' series.
