For the third year running Wellington Library is set to host a Community History Day to celebrate all that is great about all kinds of history.
Community History Day itself is being held on Saturday 1 March at Wellington Library to coincide with Wellington Town Charter Day celebrations so it’s set to be a busy day for the borough town.
On the day anyone visiting the library between 10am – 2pm will be able to chat with a variety of local and family history groups from the Wrekin Local Studies Forum about the history of the area.
There will also be help for people to begin tracing their ancestors.
Shropshire Family History Society will have a stand and volunteers available to assist you.
