I'm trying to research my family in Baschurch and not sure what my next step would be.  My direct descendant is an Ann EVANS (born 1777 in Baschurch).  I have found her baptism record on the Latter Day Saints website giving her parents as a Samuel and Mary EVANS, but can't get any further.
I was hoping to find maybe a marriage for them, but no luck unfortunately.  When I have searched the internet for where I could obtain Baschurch parish marriage records it seems that they were never printed or transcribed.  I might be looking in the wrong place.
I haven't been doing family history too long so wondered if i am missing something.
I would be so grateful for any advice or tips.

Hello

The Baschurch registers are only available on microfiche at Shropshire Archives in Shrewsbury so you now have an excuse for a trip to Shropshire.

If you look at this page and scroll down near the bottom to 'Parish Registers 2013 Version (pdf - 759kb)' and Click on this which will bring up a PDF file listing all the Shropshire Parish Registers in Shropshire Archives.

I presume your Ann Evans was the one baptised 21 Dec 1777 at Baschurch. If so, a possible marriage for parents was that of Samuel Evans and Mary Williams at Baschurch on 14 Apr 1777. Probable siblings for Ann, all baptised at Baschurch, were Mary (baptised 11 Apr 1780), Margarett (baptised 22 Mar 1783) and William (baptised 24 Jul 1785). Checking the baptism records on fiche at Shropshire Archives (if you can get there) could yield additional clues such as where exactly in Baschurch parish the Evans family lived (e.g. Baschurch itself, Prescott, Stanwardine in the Fields, Weston Lullingfields etc). An online source for the baptism of William Evans states: "William, son of Samuel & Mary Evans, pauper."
