Following on from the two previous topics announcing the availability of Wills indexes for north and south Shropshire there is an anomaly with the parish of Condover which is worth mentioning.
Condover is in the Diocese of Hereford but you won't find any wills or probate for the parish in the Hereford wills index because it was transferred from Lichfield Diocese in 1905 so all the pre 1858 wills and probate for Condover are to be found at Lichfield so you can search for them on the Find my Past web site.
