My Great Grandfather Robert DAVIES was born in Prees in 1840 (baptised there 15/11/1840).
Does anyone know anything about his father William (agricultural labourer from Winsham, Denbighshire, born about 1801) who married Emma (I don't know her maiden name), who was born in Prees about 1803?
They may have had a daughter Mary born c.1830. I'd like to know about her.
Also, can anyone tell me if their son Joseph (baptised in Prees 5/8/1838) is the same Joseph Davies, carpenter, who died in Prees Green 14/2/1900? I can only trace him, and William and Emma, for certain up to the 1851 census.
