I am researching my WIGLEY family history.
I have a photo taken in 1990 of Denthall Farm, at Ford, which my aunt Gertude Selina SMITH (nee WIGLEY, born 1910) stayed at when, I believe, it was a B & B (she was visiting places associated with her Shropshire birth and youth. I know my aunt was in service at Ford House c. 1917 but wonder if she had also been in service at Denthall Farm. I can't see that I can attach my photo of Denthall Farm to this post. It doesn't look as though this grand building exists now but I wondered if anyone had any information about its history please? Pat Kennedy, West Sussex

Hello Pat
I am wondering if you are referring to Dinthill Hall which is a short distance south east of Ford village and reached by a long drive from the A458 Shrewsbury to Welshpool road.
Try doing a search for Dinthill Hall but take care that you are reading about the correct place because I found many other references coming up from all over the country.
