I am researching my 9th great grandfather Francis DOUGHTY.
All of the family trees have him born April 2 ,1576 in Duddlewick, Shropshire. I am trying to find out anything about his parents. He moved to Bristol where he became an alderman. He died in 1634. His son, Francis, was a reverend and came to the US in 1637.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
