Hello all. First time poster here from Liverpool UK.
I am related to the MANSELLs through my x2 grandmother Julia HALES whose mother was Mary MANSELL born 1811 in Lilleshall. It looks like Mary MANSELL's father was Francis and her mother was Sarah STRINGER who married in 1790.
I can't find Francis's birth. Was he the son of Francis MANSELL born in Lilleshall in 1748? I did see a separate thread about the other Francis but am no way certain of a connection. If there is one then it looks like that gets me back in the 1600's.
Other interests in Shropshire are JARVIS of Church Aston, HALES of Lilleshall and possibly BELLINGHAM (haven't nailed this one down yet).
Thanks for any information. Hope to visit the area next month. Thinking of staying in Newport. Any decent real ale pubs doing bed and breakfast?
