I am working on a mini research project at the moment, for the Family & Community History Research Society, re the above people. James Lee GRIFFITHS (c1856-1936) was a painter self employed in 1911, living at 18 Avenue Road, Newport. His wife, Agnes nee CAMPBELL, (c1858-1934) was a schoolmistress who was head teacher at Newport elementary school in 1911.
These people were not related to my forebears, but I would like to find out as much background information about them as I can to supplement the raw data that I've found.
If anybody can help me I'll be grateful.
