Hello

I can't see an obvious birth for Howard KYNASTON 1926 plus/minus 5 years so we need to work out why.

Was Howard his second forename by any chance or just a name he used but not the one he was given at birth?

Do you know when and where he married and/or died so those entries can be checked?

Please don't use capitals other than for SURNAMES - it is considered to be shouting on the Internet.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for responding so quickly - my apologies I didn't know surname in capitals was considered to be shouting.

The only information I have is the family photograph taken at Harcourt Mill, Stanton upon Hine about 1933/4.  On the photograph was my husband's 11 ancestors and Howard Kynaston who looked about 7 or 8.  I believe Howard was the son of the people on the Kynaston farm.  I know my husband's family visited this farm often.

Have located a 1911 census with a Kynaston family listed:

Mother Annie aged 39 (b/1872) widow (Farmer)

Sons: William 21 (b/1890) Cowman, John 19 (b/1892) Waggoner on the farm, George 14 (b/1897) and James 7 (b/1904).  Wondered whether theyu are related to Howard Kynaston?

Sorry I really don't have any other information.

Hi Jen, no it's not considered shouting to put Surnames in capitals, it is the accepted practise on Family History/Genealogy Forums/MessageBoards, to make surnames stand out, however having the rest of the sentence in capitals is considered SHOUTING. wink
