I'm trying to gather some historical information regarding Grafton Farm in Noneley. I've found a little information from census records and the like, and I have seen it's Grade II listing , but I 'm wondering who had it built, and who lived there prior to the 1871 census onwards. If anyone has any information I'd be very interested in it.

Thank you.

Grafton Farm Noneley identified from 1838 Tithe Apportionment.

Landowner. VERNON DOLPHIN ESQ

Occupier. HENRY WHITFORD.

113 acres. DOLPHIN not a local name I have come across elsewhere.

WHITFORD in 1841 census but not 1851.

Unusually Grafton not in surrounding Noneley Estate lands but is by the time of the sale in 1920.

I have poor photocopy of Tithe Apportionment and map and also better copy of 1920 Estate sale particulars + plan.

If you would like copies and to compare what we have please email me. (I also have a little on the RODENHURST family recorded in 1924 Kelly's).
