Samuel BARRETT is my ggggrandfather. He was born about 1787. He married Elizabeth PRICE 16 Feb, 1818, Aston, St Peter and St Paul, Warwichshire.
Samuel and Elizabeth lived in Bridgnorth where their children were born and baptised: Elizabeth, William, Samuel, Eliza, Thomas and Benjamin.
Samuel was a groom, publican and beer retailer.
I am trying to determine Samuel's birth date and parents. Also trying to find his date of death and burial. I know he died before 1851 as Elizabeth is widowed in the 1851 census. Samuel is not on the 1841 census but Elizabeth is down as housewife and not widow. I found a newspaper article about a Thomas LLOYD stealing a watch belonging to Samuel BARRETT from the room both were sharing at the Raven Inn, Bridgnorth in 1846. If this was my Samuel BARRETT then he was still alive in 1846. I would appreciate any help in finding info so I can follow Samuel's line. Thankyou
