With the addition of several new titles (well, newly-digitised old titles anyway) at the end of last week, and with more to come over the summer, Welsh Newspapers Online is becoming an increasingly useful resource for genealogists researching ancestors in Shropshire, especially if those ancestors were in the parts of the county close to the Welsh border. I have found lots of useful information in the newly-added material from the Cambrian News and Merionethshire Standard for example, which reports on events from the north-east corner of Shropshire where the Atcherley family were most active.
