On Shropshire Libraries web site, I notice two very significant items of interest.
The 200 plus Shropshire Parish Registers that recently became available to subscribers of 'Find my Past', are now also available free of charge, online, in all Shropshire libraries and at Shropshire Archives.
I quote; "Spanning 1538 to 1900, the Shropshire collection comprises approximately 2.1 million fully searchable transcripts and 155,000 scanned colour images of the parish registers."
Secondly, the free access to Ancestry (Library edition) that had been available on fixed computers in Shropshire Libraries, has now been extended to all library Wi-Fi networks.
