I am looking for more information about Samuel John DOUGHTY. He was born in Oswestry on March 2nd 1825, baptised 9th April 1825, Prees Green Primitive Methodist Church. His father was William DOUGHTY(1799-1863) the preacher, who was imprisoned in Oswestry for preaching for the Primitive Methodist Church, his mother was Frances FRANKLIN(1802-1874). The couple had two other sons, William DOUGHTY , (1827 -1841) and Joseph DOUGHTY (1827-1851) and a daughter Frances DOUGHTY (1834-1902)

I can find Frances in 1841 living at Willow Street, Oswestry in 1841 census with daughter Frances and son Joseph but I cannot find “Samuel John DOUGHTY, who would have been in his 20s when he moved out so I am guessing might have a home of his own. (The father William DOUGHTY was in Ellesmere where he did a lot of preaching, in 1841 listed as a grocer)

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you for your time
