I am researching women's suffrage (including Suffragettes, Suffragists, anti-Suffrage campaginers, and views on the subject from local individuals) and any evidence would be greatly appreciated.
Letters, photographs, leaflets, posters, marginal notes, political diaries, names, newspaper cuttings, or anything relevant could be very helpful to explore what opinions and events were like in Shrophire. Events, such as the 1908 Newport by-election, saw considerable campaigning in the county, however, only a handful of primary sources are in the local archives. It would be great to find out about the opinions and involvment of a wider variety of Salopians. Thank you for any help.
