Hello all,
I am searching for any possible 'living' Pritchard relatives of mine residing in Shropshire.
Recently I reviewed the Member’s Interests page and found a number of members interested in the family name Pritchard.
My direct Pritchard family (on my father’s side) emigrated from Shropshire to New South Wales, Australia in 1911 but I have no knowledge of any living relatives still residing in Shropshire. Prior to emigrating they lived mainly in village and town locations such as Wellington, Coolmoor, Ellerdine, Cold Hatton, Waters Upton, Stanton Upon Hine Heath. Although my great grandfather and his two sisters were born near Wolverhampton, Staffordshire then moved to Shropshire.
Family names they married into include: Jones, Gough, Fletcher, Powell, Lockley, Davies, Caswell, Morris, Bagley, and Clayton.
Over the years I have continued to research my Pritchard family which is too detailed to place here so I would be happy to hear from anyone that believes they have a Pritchard connection to me or wishes to clarify any of the detail above. Kind regards, Bob

Hi again John,
Again thanks for your time spent on the additional research which I already have but will also help any readers to our conversation. However on revisiting my ancestry and your mention of Ellen Davies on the 1901 census I have discovered that Ellen is the illegitimate daughter of Sarah Davies, baptised 15 Feb 1846. I was confused as the census stated she is Edward's sister but was 15 years older! She is in fact his half sister born prior to Sarah Davies marrying William Pritchard.
I now hope that there is someone out there that believes they may be related via any of my ancestors.
