Hi I assume you mean Lydburry Norrth,  Shropshire? There are documents on line for John and Martha daughter of Rowland Barkerr of Totterton hall? If you are looking for Thomas Lloyd of Trench Ellesmere b1708 d1745 married Eleanor Orram, (father of Thomas Lloyd of the Trench Ellesmere 1729-1783)  his father we understand was William Lloyd of Shrewsbury b1681 d1763 Shrewsbury St Chads. Best James

Hi James Yes It would appear Thomas of Lydbury North died in 1710 so not our Thomas

I cannot find any records relating to the birth of Thomas born 1729 to ID his Father. Ancestry shows Thomas 1708 but no records.

Thanks for your input on Ancestry

Bishops Castle records do show Thomas son of William being baptised 1726.

Any assistance appreciated

Regards Wayne

Hi James I appear to have come to a full stop at Thomas LLOYD 1729 in records I have followed William and the Appleburys which is interesting going back to a Welsh Prince.

Does your line follow Mary NEWNES  1683 and the Cartwirights?

Records Show Thomas LLOYD 1761 and Edward LLOYD 1798 having lived in St Johns Hill Ellesmere, Which appear to be my line.

Any information would be welcomed.

Regards Wayne Lloyd

Thanks James

Any assistance getting on the right track is a bonus.

Across different sites I was getting links from William 1681 to possible Father William 1645 who was married to Elizabeth Applebury.

Yes William Lloyd 1645 -1702 married Elizabeth Applebury 1647-1697,  William born St Martins (Ellesmere Parish) died Shrewsbury probably burried Old St Chads.

son William 1681 - 1763 christined Old St Chads, married St Juliens church 13Oct 1698 Ales Win or Alice possibly Wynn.

his son Thomas Lloyd 1708 ??-1745  buried at old St Chads 7th Oct 1745.

1788 Old St Chads church collapsed one morning so possibly you wont find all records.

I bekieve Thomas Lloyd 1708 is actually Thomas (8th Nov 1711), Bettus, Shropshire see St Marys Bettws-y-Crwyn, Shropshire records father William, Mother Alice which are correct but i cant access it.

Thomas later married Eleanor Oram 1712-1806 of Hadnall Shropshire

hope it helps you
