Burwarton Show is one of the premier one-day agricultural shows in the country attracting some twenty thousand visitors each year to the glorious South Shropshire countryside.
After the last four very succesful years for us, we have booked a space again at this show to make contact with interested South Shropshire folk.

At STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, Fire Fly Avenue (off Kemble Drive), Swindon, Wiltshire, SN2 2EY. 10:00AM to 3:30PM.
Shropshire FHS will be in attendance with a Helpdesk/Computer Look-ups, also Shropshire Local Interest Books and Maps and our own CD's, plus General Family History Research Books all for sale.
Venue: The Knavesmire Exhibition Centre, The Racecourse, York, YO23 1EX
Time 10AM-4:30PM
Shropshire Family History Society will be having a stand at the event, with a team of volunteer helpers, computers and books. They will also be selling a selection of Local Interest Books and Maps, some Family History Books and our own CDs.

Once on the Historic England's Buildings at Risk Register, Myndtown Church is a little jewel in the heart of the Long Mynd and was in danger of falling down and disappearing unless something was done to save it.
