I am trying to find information on my great-great-grandfather and his family. JOHN HUMPHREYS was born in OSWESTRY in 1859.His wife was MARY (nee PAINTER) who was born in FENNS BANK,FLINTSHIRE in 1867. There last address according to the 1901 census,was 86 HOLLINS LANE TILSTOCK. By 1911 they were living in Stockport. John was a brick yard engine driver. I have done well with my research here on the Stockport angle , but would like to get cracking on the Shropshire history. If anyone has any information , or can point me in the right direction , I would be most grateful. Many thanks.
