I have a William Lee or Lea who died in 1775, aged 68 at Alscott, near Wrockwardine. Apparently he married a Mary Trevor of whom I know very little. She died in 1761.
There is a William Lee christened in Wellington parish (close to Allscott & Wrockwardine) in May 1707 - parents listed as William Lee and Ann (maiden name unknown). Several other children apparently of this marriage were:-
1. John b.1705, Wellington
2. John b.1712, Wellington
3. Richard b.1716, Wellington
4. Francis b.1719, Wellington
What I am trying to find is any further details of the marriage, i.e. maiden name of Ann and whether or not there is a connection to the Lee family of Acton Burnell/Langley in Shropshire. Any further data on Mary Trevor would also be appreciated (someone on IGI has her born in 1710 and dying in 1761 - I can find her death, but no parentage/place of birth).
