Quite by chance this evening I came across this 245-page 6.1 Mb PDF index of all the marriage notices published in Berrow's Worcester Journal. Quite a few Shropshire people are in there - a search of the document reveals 256 instances of the word Salop and 71 of the word Shropshire.
A little extra Googling revealed an index to a number of other Worcestershire resources (including indexes of birth and death notices from the Journal) which might prove to be of use to Shropshire researchers.
Some of you may already know about all this, but I thought I'd post the details for anyone who (like myself) was not aware.
