I am trying to find Ann POSTON's parents and siblings. Ann lived and married in Liverpool, England. Marriage date to James GLOVER is 11 May 1808. It lists Ann as being from the parish of Liverpool and James from Walton on the Hill. any help is much appreciated.
Ann and James are listed by proxy as godparents of children of Charles POSTON born 1789 in Whitchurch, Salop and emigrated to Quebec Canada 1815. I am trying to figure out their connection.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Holly, The Lancashire on-line parish registers have Ann's surname transcribed as Paston,so may be worth searching on that surname as well (http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html), Do you have access to www.ancestry.co.uk? If you do then you'll find an image of parish register of Ann's marriage, stating she was married by licence and witnesses to the marriage were William Glover and Elizabeth Poston. Their marriage licence can be found on www.findmypast.co.uk (let me know if you don't subscribe to that website), but it does not give any other family names. Other Poston's who married in Liverpool at beginning of 19th century were Elizabeth (1810), William (1812) and Margaret (1812), but none of them other family members as marriage witnesses, so difficult to say if they were siiblings of Ann.
