Looking for any information on Ellen Katherine Curr born august 1913 in Grosmont Monmouthshire. She was known as Katie when a small child. Her mother Charlotte Mary Elizabeth Curr married a Richard Dicken HAYWARD in 1918 with Curr spelt as Kerr, and moved to Scotland Street, Ellesmere about 1920. She may have married a "HILLMAN" and moved to Oxfordshire. I can't find a marriage under Curr/Kerr or Hayward (She may have been adopted by her stepfather) If anyone can help me with this I will be delighted

Hi Janet, I noticed two possible marriages for an Ellen K Hayward between 1931 and 1951.
The first is in the March quarter of 1931, to George A McCarthy in the registration district of Wandsworth, Volume 1d page 773.
The second is in the September quarter of 1934, to Cyril E Wollmershauser in the registration district of Brentford, Volume 3a page 895.
Could either of these be the marriage you are looking for?
