Attempting to determine history of Thomas A SMITH, born circa 1886 in Whittington. In 1911, he was living with his father at 7 Oak Street, Belle Vue, Shrewsbury and is listed as married. However, no indication of a wife residing with him at that time. His father's name was Alfred SMITH. In Alfred's history, no son named Thomas exists until this census information in 1911. However, another son, John Alfred SMITH, born about the same time, also born in Whittington about the same time, appears in earlier census info about the father but not in 1911.
Does anybody have any information about any of the above?

From what i can now surmise, the John Alfred I have was incorrectly listed in the census and the correct name is really Thomas Alfred,

FindMyPast shows a Thomas Alfred SMITH baptised 24 Feb 1885 at Whittington, Son of Alfred & Olive SMITH, Farmer of Whittington. Olive's maiden name may have been EDWARDS but the code is unclear.
