Looking for the possible father of George WOLLEY bapt Upton Magna 29 Nov 1739, on the bapt his mother is listed as Elizabeth Wolley, but not sure if he was illegitimate.
Can anyone help?

Thank you for your input, I wondered if her husband had died or he may have been in the military.
I dont have access to Find My Past, is this website the only one that has Parish records online for Upton Magna?

This is another way of saying illegitimate, baseborn

Hello
Looking at the image of the original register (not a transcript) on the Find my Past web site I see that the entry reads, "George the Natural son of Elizabeth WOLLEY was baptised Nov 29 1739".
Another entry higher up the page where no father is given does not use the word 'Natural' but a couple of pages later it is used. The register appears to be written by the parish clerk and the Rector signs at the bottom of each page.
Have a search to see if Elizabeth had any more children before or after George.
